Julie Evans – Owner, Registered Interior Designer #957

Award-winning designer, Julie Evans, Allied Member, ASID, and owner of JEIDesign in Austin, TX, is known for her skills in interpreting her client’s tastes and developing their ideas to surpass their expectations. Her enthusiasm, diligence, and discerning eye, combined with over 25 years experience, have established Julie as one of Texas’s top interior design professionals.

Glynis Whitmore – Office Manager

The title, “Office Manager” does not do our Glynis justice.  Having worked for JEI for over five years, with experience in the interior design field since 1990, Glynis has been coined the office “mama”, because she takes care of everything.  From the administrative to the creative, thought-out to therapeutic, our “Office Manager” is the best we know.

Sarah Nemec – Designer

Sarah has been with JEI for three years and holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from Texas State University.  Her position as designer entails not just interior design practice, but also creative and effective digital design for company marketing and outreach.  Her innovative ideas and knowledge of current trends have been great assets to JEI.

Dana Loran Kanetzky – Associate Interior Designer

With a degree in Interior Design from Texas State University, Dana also procured a Minor in Studio Art.  Prior to her employment with JEI, she gained knowledge of the field in practice with another local firm.   Her discerning eye and passion for her work has yielded many qualities that have benefited JEI’s highest standards of interior design.

Sarah Evans – Visiting Writer

Though not a regular employee of JEI, Sarah weaves most of the copy and outreach blurbage for our design firm.  She spends the majority of her time with her nonprofit, Well Aware, but is also a freelance writer, and she authors all of JEI’s newsletters, articles and blog entries.
